Milos Kerkez, born on 7 November 2003 in Vrbas, Serbia, is a professional footballer who represents the Hungary national team and plays as a left-back for Liverpool. Known for his speed, stamina, and attacking flair from the back, Kerkez has quickly risen as one of Europe’s most promising young defenders.
He began his youth career with OFK Vrbas before moving to Austria to join Rapid Wien’s academy in 2014. After five years of development, he returned to Hungary briefly before catching the attention of AC Milan, where he joined their youth setup in 2021. Although he did not feature for the senior team, training in Milan's elite environment helped accelerate his development.
In January 2022, Kerkez transferred to Dutch side AZ Alkmaar. His performances in the Eredivisie quickly earned him a reputation as a high-potential full-back, known for his fearless overlapping runs, strong defensive positioning, and accurate deliveries into the box.
In July 2023, Kerkez signed with AFC Bournemouth in the Premier League. During the 2024–25 season, he made 38 league appearances, scoring two goals and providing six assists. His consistent performances earned him multiple Player of the Month honors and attracted interest from top-tier clubs across Europe.
On the international stage, Kerkez chose to represent Hungary despite being born in Serbia. He made his senior debut in 2022 and featured in the UEFA Euro 2024 tournament, becoming the youngest Hungarian player to play in the competition’s history.
In June 2025, Liverpool signed Kerkez on a five-year deal, viewing him as a long-term solution at left-back. Off the pitch, he is known for his grounded personality, love for nature, and a strong friendship with fellow Hungarian star Dominik Szoboszlai.
